This was the entree for my mothers day dinner and it was very tasty. The tangyness of the gorgonzola with the flavor of the flank steak work well together. I will definitely make this again.

The Neelys are turning this CT yankee into a southern girl with collard greens, mustard greens, cornbread muffins with honey, etc. The gorgonzola sauce on the steak was yum! I did scorch the pan while watching Red Sox, but just poured the sauce out, and it was fine. Love the show!

Nice to know that such an inexpensive cut of meat can be so delicious and quick, if you cook it right! The cheese sauce was great, although I put it in a dipping dish on the side, so each person could choose how much they wanted with each bite.

I have tried to find a recipe that uses a blue cheese crumble or sauce for steaks as that is a favorie of my husbands when we eat out. This was very easy and was as good if not better than any steak I have had with blue cheese. I used it for a couple different cuts of steak. I will make this again.

The sauce for this recipe is awesome. There are a couple of things to remember that make this turn out perfect...the heavy cream mixture must be reduced to half, that's what gives it the thickness (perhaps the other reviewer didn't do this. It takes about 30-45 minutes, so be patient. Next its a 1/4 lb. of the gorgonzola cheese, not 1/4 cup - that's what will give it the great flavor. My husband raved about this sauce - its just as good if not better than a fine dining restaurant. Left overs warmed are just as great. Thanks Neeleys for your recipe!!! Keep them coming!!!!

My husband grilled the steak over charcoals medium/medium well and it was real tender. Gave it 4 stars because I felt the cheese sauce needed to be a little thicker. The sauce was more like a gravy instead of cheese sauce. Maybe it needed a little flour mixed in or I might not have reduced the cream down to half like the recipe stated.

The sauce wasn't bad, it was ok - average. There was just nothing really interesting about it.

I tried this, and although the cut of meat is not that great, the sauce made the difference. My husband a very picky eater said "I could use that sauce on any cut of meat." Also, the garlic in the potatoes in the meal were great, thanks Nealys. I will try you again and watch you for more great tips.
