The steak sauce for this was the best beer based sauce I've ever had! Great flavour and so easy to make. Besides the strip steaks, I've used it on pork, chicken and burgers and it's gotten brilliant reviews from everyone who's tasted it. Great recipe.

I love this sauce. It would be good in baked beans as well. I know when I try it on ribs it will be over. My first time watching the Neely's this week made me watch twice after this. I am a true fan now!!!

My family loved this recipe, and i have put this into our family recipe files. Only thing that i had a problem with was that it was a little to hot. So next time i will use less cayenne pepper. Overall it was a simple recipe to make and had great flavor. I would recommend anyone to try this.

At first I thought the tablespoon of cayenne would be too much, but it is outstanding. Also, the sauce really needs 2 hours to reduce and thicken to the right consistency instead of the 30 minutes stated in the online printed version. I did not tape the show, but I believe Gina mentioned it would be take 2 hours for the sauce to reduce and thicken. Excellent job. And, whoever mentioned it would also be good on chicken was right - another win!

    Gina & Pat,
I made this recipe trying to get my freezer cleaned out: I used my husband's favorite stout (guinness. He loved the meal. The steak wasn't tough and the sauce was excellent. Keep up the good work! I love you guys and will continue to watch.

Lately I haven't been much of a steak eater, my hubby has been wanting me to use all the steak in the freezer. So I turned to this recipe.

This was the best homemade sauce ever!!! I felt that it might have been a bit too spicey, but either way it was wonderful. I'll have to turn it down a notch for my husband. With my latin blood the more I had the better it tasted..lol. Since there was a lot left over (and I cut the recipe in half, we'll be having it on our chicken tonight!!!!

I cooked this for my family and they thoroughly enjoyed it (and thats coming from an asian household that usually eats rice and veggies! When making the sauce, I would make half of what the recipe calls for but it is quite alot unless you plan on using it another night or something. But overall, good recipe!

Wow, what flavor, this could make a pencil taste good! Served it with grilled chicken, but only used about 1/2 teaspoon of cayenne and it was almost too spicy for us. I cannot even imagine what a whole tablespoon would taste like. Will make this again and again.
