This was so easy. The flavor with the hint of heat was just right served it for Palm Sunday dinner and everyone loved it. I doubled the sounds since I used a larger ham. I also removed the rind from most of the ham. Followed the 20 mn per pound rule at 325 and used a thermometer to about 152 interior temp. It was most as could be.

The ham I bought was already glazed and cooked.I added this glaze and it made the ham simply wonderful, so much more flavor. I will use it on every ham I cook.

People who think this isn't hot enough, should be able to judge by the amount of pepper in the recipe, that it won't be super spicy/hot. Also, since the glaze is mainly on the outer parts of the ham, and doesn't really permeate through, you may get random bites of pieces with the glaze. I may try puncturing the skin to see if this helps at all.
I've made this many times, and I have adjusted thing to my liking. Surely you could add Thai chilis or other kinds and up the amount to really have a kick.
The only downside to this recipe is I think you need to double it for any size ham. Considering the amount that slides off and in case you can to deglaze halfway through, you would really want to double it.
Also, I've used with cooked and uncooked hams. I think my 8-10 lb hams take around 2.5-3 hours.
