I thought they were great. I am not one for spicy and I did not think it was too spicy. My 5 year old ate them. I just did not put extra sauce on his when I served them, just my Husband and mine. I would make them again.

I've looked everywhere to find a good indoor rib recipe. The recipe was easy to follow and was amazing. The meat was tender and the sauce was a greatcompliment to the dry rub. Absolutely amazing

These ribs were absolutely delicious! I followed the recipe exactly and these turned out perfectly in the oven. They were tender (fall-off-the-bone tender and they were sweet with a little bit of spice. I definitely want to try this recipe for barbeque chicken and thick-cut pork chops. You have to give these ribs a try, you will not be disappointed!

I agree with the reviews saying it was too hot.

I actually scaled the amount of cayenne back quite a bit. When put into rubs, I find cayenne to be overpowering. So i scaled that back to 1/2 tsp. I also reduced it to about 1/2 tsp in the sauce because it was going to be simmering for ~1 hr and for me, cayenne gets a nasty bite when simmering that long.

I also find that adding 2 tbsp of dry mustard into the sauce provides a nice complement to the flavors and since i like a smokier sauce, increased the smoked paprika by another 1 tsp.

You gotta try this one! I cut back on the cayenne a bit, but that's just me.
This was awesome! Makes me want to go find a barbecue contest.

This recipe is awesome. We have made ribs now using the rub and sauce, 5 times now and they come out excellent. I can not say enough good things about the flavor of the ribs. We smoke our ribs for about 4-6 hours and the flavor is just melt in your mouth YUMMY!!!

Thank you for sharing this delicious recipe.

I usually make baby back ribs but I went with this recipe and used regular pork ribs. First, this recipe uses a lot of ingredients and the end result isn't very flavorful, just burning hot. I let them sit in the fridge overnight with the rub on them. I felt the rub recipe made way to much for 2 slabs of ribs. I could have used half the amount. I made the sauce recipe unlike most of the others. Again, I could have made half the recipe. Actually, our favorite bottled sauce would have been the best choice. The sauce was rather bland except for the sharp vinegar flavor. But I did everything, step by step, even the slathering of sauce every 30 mins which I stopped after 2 hours, it was enough already. So after all that work and 4.5 hrs of baking ih the oven, I served them. They weren't fall apart tender and they were pretty tasteless except for the sting of cayenne, Personally, we have never had spicy ribs. Ribs are supposed to be smokey, these were firey spicy. These were at least a 3.5 out 5 if 5 where the spiciest. So after hours of cooking, lots of ingredients and the cost, these went in the garbage, none of us liked them. Sorry Neelys, this is not a keeper for us.

I tried this pork rib recipe yesterday and cooked them in the oven. I have no idea why this recipe is rated so well. It certainly was not worth all the trouble - basting every half hour. I think the ribs would have tested much better with just the rub and a bottle of store bought barbecue sauce slathered on top of the ribs for the last 30-45 minutes of cooking time. Very disappointed in the end result. Taste was blah even though I'd added more cayenne pepper as my husband and I like food with a kick.
