I could only get 3/4 cup of lime juice out of my limes (they were really dry, but it was great anyway. I didn't think it would work, but it really does taste like key lime pie -- in ice cream form! The lime zest got caught up in the ice cream maker paddles, but maybe that was for the best, since I see some of the other reviewers thought it was too limey. Chocolate-covered grahams were a good garnish.

I made this and it had way too much lime- it was way too tart and took over the flavour. I think over-all this is a great recipe- but I will cut back on the lime next time. It tasted fine before it was frozen- but somehow the lime got stronger- not sure what happened since I followed the recipe.

I could not believe how good this ice cream was! It was so simple I didn't think it would really taste like key lime pie, but OMG! I can't believe more people haven't tried it yet. I've told all my friends about it. For added presentation, I used miniature graham cracker pie shells to serve individual portions (one scoop is really all you need. The taste was great and the presentation was excellent! Good job Neelys.

The ice cream was out of this world; very refreshing and tasted very much like Key Lime Pie. I crushed the graham crackers and added them to the ice cream machine with a few minutes left. Definitely will make again.
