    I make homemade Mac and cheese all the time and this was the BEST recipe so far! Everyone loved it!!! The crispy bacon was what made it so yummy. I did not use chips.

    I made this recipe two times, most recent was this Thanksgiving 2012, it was wonderful. My family members were literally fighting over it. I dont understand the reviews that state this recipe is horrible. Ofcourse you can add your own flare to it, I actually did not add the bacon or chips, I added bread cumbs instead, I also added about 4 1/2 cups of cheese instead of 3 cups. This recipe is so easy to get. I love the Neely's. Thanks again for helping me out with these dishes, I can not wait to try the cocunut cream pie. Way to Go Neely's!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :-

    Easy to make, and gets rave reviews every time I serve this to family or friends. Don't be scared to double the recipe, as there are NEVER any left overs if I don't make at least a double batch!

    Yummy! Mac, cheese, spice, bacon, more cheese...what's not to like? This is a great recipe. Big hit with my sons, husband, and me. We make it with extra hot sauce, woozy sauce, and cayenne. We like things hot here... I usually skip the potato chips (we are not big chip eaters and use breadcrumbs instead. For cheese, I use extra sharp cheddar or pepper jack. Sometimes I add ground beef to the cheddar and have cheeseburger bacon mac. Good stuff! Just be sure to take your time while making the roux as that is the key to the success of the recipe!

    I love this Macaroni and Cheese recipe! I have made it so many times since 1st trying it. I have even brought it in a crock pot to work and put on the chips right before serving. It was a big hit! I love this recipe so much, all of my favorite things in one dish! I usually make extra of the sauce because we love it extra goey.

    Lemme just say this... AMAZING!! Follow the recipe to the T, except I couldnt find the type of pasta suggested in my neighborhood grocery store...This recipe has entered the beloved "Recipe Drawer." It's a keeper!

    This dish was absolutely delicious! I made a few changes such as: 2 cups of half and half and two cups of regular 1% milk. I didn't use cayenne pepper but i did use the hot sauce and just a few sprinkles of nutmeg and worchestershire sauce. I used mild cheddar, sharp cheddar, and muenster cheese as well. The bacon I used beef bacon which I believe is better than pork. And put that in the dish and on top with the potato chips (reg lays. I let it bake for 35 minutes... It was amazing! And it tastes even better the next day! Thanks for such an amazing dish!! I was told that this was the best macaroni and cheese I have ever made! Definitely making this again!
