I have been trying to get a decent macaroni & cheese receipe for a long time. This looked so good on the show that I had to try it. It's good, but it can be a bit bland so I add other spices (onion powder, extra mustard to kick it up a bit. I leave out the potato chips and add 1 can of condensed cheddar cheese soup to make it creamier.

Makes a very good "comfort food" for cold nights. Thank you, Gina. Pat, I hope you're a good boy most of the time, because this is delicious!

Sensational, but would you expect anything else from the Neely's? Can't wait to make it again.

After reading some reviews I was scared to try it, I think some people needed to watch the video first. I made it once and it didnt come out to great, cheesey but didnt turn out to well. After watching the video and taking my time it came out perfect, alittle more salt was needed but I could taste all the other seasoning. Made it for Thanksgiving and had to make more and hide the leftovers for my family.

This was so so so good! My husband loved it! Our male friends loved the potato chips and bacon! I also altered this to my taste. I added a little more cheese, salt, and pepper. I used shells for the pasta and plain shredded romano cheese also. It came out great. My 6 yr old daughter help taste test. She said the romano cheese stinks but is soooooo good!

I don't know what everyone else tasted, but this recipe was great; however, I did alter it just a little bit. I didn't add potato chips at all. Instead of Parmesan Cheese, I used Mozzarella...and I seasoned the cheese sauce to taste with a few extra dashes of salt and pepper. My family loved it! Thanks Pat & Gina!

I made this last night for dinner; followed the recipe exactly. I had sour cream on hand just in case, but didn't need it at all. It came out thick and creamy with great flavor..with requests to make it in the future.

One thing I did do but..I always do it when I boil pasta. I added maybe a tbsp. of salt to the water to give it flavor. Other than that--I followed it to the letter.

Thank you for a great recipe!

As with all food you have to taste it as you go, the cheese sauce needed to be doctored to my taste but it was easy and I added some sour cream and cream of chicken soup a little nutmeg and poultry seasoning and it made it creamier and fantastic! But my suggestion if you didn't like the recipe would be taste it and make it your own!

I was disappointed in this recipe, I actually made it for the family for Sunday Dinner after church. I was a little embarrassed. I dont think this recipe should be put in the oven, and so what I did was I took it home and mixed it with some hamburger meat and added some milk and more cheddar cheese to flavor it up.
Money is tight these days so I just couldnt see myself throwing money away.

I had such high hopes for this recipe. I can't tell you how disaapointed I was. I knew the moment my husband took a bite that it was horrible. He made a face! Other reviws were right...this had no flavor whatsoever and it was so dry. It looked better just after mixing in the cheese before putting it in the oven. At least then it was creamy and thick the way I love mac and cheese. I was horrified but I had to throw it away.....such a waste of money in an economy that is already playing havoc with my grocery bill. I balled up the recipe and tossed it in the trask along with an entire pan of this goop.

ps....the only good part was the bacon and potato chip crust.
