    I saw this show on May 4th and immediately went out and got the ingredients that I didn't already have at home. I was so excited to try it and I was not disappointed at all. My family loved it and I will fixing it to carry to pot luck dinners. I added more cheese because my family loves cheese and when I sauteed the bacon I added onions with it (that was my secret ingredient All I can say is that it was great and I will be making it over and over. It was really simple and my son who wants to be a chef came in a gave me a hand and told mt that he could make this by himself.I love Down Home with the Neely's and every chance that I get I look at it-all of their recipes seem to be wonderful.

    I made this today, the day I saw it made on tv,,,for the people that said it was blan have no imagination,,, I changed it up some,,,2cups of whole milk/2cups heavy cream, then 3cups sharp cheddar, and 1cup sargentos bistro chipotle cheddar and the rest the same, I think my husband groaned through the whole meal, and he is a great cook, I will be making this for sure again,,my husband said don,t ever change anything I did,, believe me that is a huge compliment...TRY IT, YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!!!!

    This was pretty good as far as mac and cheese go. Next time I'd add a little more cheese, and maybe add something else to the cheddar, like Colby/jack or something like that. My roommate suggested adding saltines to the top instead of chips and that turned out great. We had a great dinner...will probably try this recipe again!

    I loved the potato chip/bacon topping. The dish was flavorless, though. It needs more cheese--or something! I am going back to my old mac and cheese recipe, but with the topping from the Neely's. I love the show, but this wasn't a favorite recipe.

    I made this recipe totally out of curiosity and boy was I amazed. This is the most creamy and the best Mac and Cheese recipe by far. I cooked this for a dinner and it was the talk of the event. I will always use the special noodles and continue cooking mac and cheese this way for years to come. Thanks

    This was edible, but not our fave mac & cheese. It was more creamy than cheesy. The chips & bacon on top were a great idea & I'll probably use that again on a different mac & cheese recipe.

    Great show and great recipe. A quote from a friend who is a restaurant critic; "This is the best Macaroni and Cheese I have ever had." Couple changes based on ingredients I had or didn't: added onions when frying up the bacon, thinned out some cream because i didn't have milk. Still turned out fine.

    I made a double batch of this... I spent over $50.00, and wish I had just bought Kraft..... I did as the instructions said, and even mixed in cubes like one review sugested. It was verry cheesie, looking but no flavor. My husband suggested mixing baccon through it, insted of just on the top. Also... I had to pull it out almost 10 min early or the top would have burned!!!! My 3 year old, (who is a mac and cheese aholic hated it!!! But on the same side, my neighbor's son (who is 7 and HATES everything evcept toast LOVED IT!!!! I think everyone should try to tweek it a little, and see what you like....
