Not sure what happened...followed the recipe to the letter. Turned out creamy without flavor, yet hot at the same time. I'll keep looing for that perfect Mac-n-Cheese.

If I could give this dish a zero, I would. This is nothing more than a white sauce with cheese added that I might use for scalloped potatoes, but not for macaroni and cheese. I even used 1/2 cup more cheese than the recipe called for. This is not a recipe for macaroni and cheese. It's a recipe for macaroni au gratin. While it tastes just ok, it's not what would be expected for a macaroni/cheese dish. Kraft Delux does a much better job.

This mac and cheese tasted pretty good. Unlike other reviewers, I added the pepper and hot sauce. It was so creamy when I put it together and looked so yummy. When I pulled it out of the oven, it was sort of dry. I was expecting it to be creamy like others stated. It had a good flavor, but just too dry for me. If I make it again, I will cover it with foil or maybe not leave it in the whole time. The bacon and chips were a nice touch. The bacon would probably taste better mixed in instead of on top.

I made this for my family and they loved it!! I left out the cayenne pepper and hot sauce, as I afraid they would not like the kick. I love the Neely's new show.

I made this after watching the show, for my family. They loved it!! Very easy to make. I omitted the hot sauce and cayenne pepper, wasn't sure the family would like the kick. Maybe I'll try it next time with the kick. I love the Neely's new show.

I followed this recipe to the letter and never have such a creamy mac and cheese and the chip and bacon topping was great,the Neelys-my new best friends!
