    This is one of my family's favorite meals. My twin girls just had a birthday and, when I asked them what they wanted for our big family birthday dinner they said, "Neely's mac and cheese and pulled pork! I doubled the recipe and it went like crazy, not a bit left. It's so tasty and creamy...a big THANK YOU to Pat and Gina

    This is the best mac and cheese ever, I recommend following the recipe. The flavors are very well balanced and it has a bit of a kick, unlike regular mac and cheese.

    nice flavors but not too outragious that the kids still enjoyed. sometimes I leave off the bacon and substitute seasoned panko for the chips and serve it as a side dish with simple steak tips or bbq chicken. with the bacon and chips you add a salad and have a nice dinner for a rainy fall evening.

    Delish!! At first my hubby was like... uh oh.. where's the flavour?? Then he said WOW!! mm mm mm!! The kids all loved it and had SECONDS!! Definitely will make again...
    I paired it with oven fried chicken!! And dessert was apple tortillas!

    Amazing. Addictive. A Keeper.
    Here are some hints for success:
    1. Cook your roux for a bit longer than 1 minute to make sure you get rid of that raw flour taste.
    2. This recipe makes A LOT of cheese sauce, so Cook more than 1lb of pasta. Then add as much pasta for the balance you like.
    3. You can substitute the dry mustard with dijon or yellow mustard. Just add a bit more.
    4. ADD more salt or make sure you really season your pasta water. I added 1/2 teaspoon of lawry's and a pinch of kosher and it was perfect.

    It was a great recipe that my husband and I enjoyed cooking together, but it seemed to have been missing a little flavor somewhere. We did still enjoy it and it filled us up really fast.

    My brother and I watched the Neely's make this recipe and decided to give it a shot. It was an easy recipe, that does take a little over an hour. We didn't have potato chips, so we used breadcrumbs. I bet the chips would have added a special flavor. We also didn't have Worcestershire sauce. The bacon was a great touch! Definitely don't leave out the bacon. Overall, very good and very filling!
