These burgers turned out great... I sprayed the onions with I Can't Believe It's Not Butter spray, and added some salt and pepper to them. Also added some cheese slices for those who wanted cheese. The mayo-mustard sauce was so simple but really good, and the burgers themselves had great flavor as well. Overall a very good recipe!!!

These were great! The seasoning is simple but delicious and I loved the mayo sauce with this! The only thing I changed was I added American Cheese (1 slice covers 4 sliders because we are huge cheese lovers here. Great recipe!!!

I was skeptical about this recipe because it looked so plain & simple, but these were some of the best seasoned burgers i've ever eaten. They were delicious! Next time I will make them as regular sized burgers as my family didn't like the sliders size, but they tasted great!!

These little sliders are a complete hit with all ages. I have made them several times, and am making them again tonight. Usually, I stick with the soft potato rolls, but am trying mini sesame buns from trader joes tonight. LOVE the mustard/mayo, and I have sub'd chili powder for the cayenne pepper with great success, as well. You've got to try these!

Never thought of adding onion powder to the meat before, wow, they smelled great cooking. The onion added alot of flavor, and made the sauce just as indicated (because we love bold flavors, and I gotta tell you, that with all the other things goin on with this burger, it was not overpowering!

I made this the other night for my family, and we all loved the taste of these little burgers! They are little, but mighty in flavor! This recipe is a definite keeper for me. I took other reviewers' advice and used only half of the cayeene pepper so it wouldn't be too spicy, and the sauce was delicious. Wonderful recipe...the grilled red onions really added to the taste. We cannot get White Castle or Krystal where we live, so this recipe was the next best thing!

Made everything exactly as recipe directed, except I already had Honey Dijon, and knowing from experience (I live in Chiangmai, Thailand now that sugar takes the bite out of spicey "heat", I used that. Plus, no potato dinner rolls to be had in Chiangmai, so I used small, "soft (dinnerrolls", 8 to a pack, so I made 8 burgers.

To be honest, they had a "hint" of my old favorite growing up in the D.C. area: "Little Tavern" hamburgers, aka sliders. I think it's the onion powder and onions that gave it that hint.

And, I have been eating too much Thai food: couldn't taste any "spiciness" at all, maybe it was the honey in the mustard that cooled it, but I only got a teeny bit of lip tingling after I polished off 4 of these tidbits.

Next time, I will try to BBQ them, bet they are even better.

    5 star.

    Thanks, Neelys!!
