    BY FAR..this is the best recipe I've used so far. Turned out perfect. Thank you thank you thank you Nana! BUT.. I think I might have cut them too thick cause they needed more baking time or my oven is not working properly.

    Awesome easy to follow recipe!! They rose like they were supposed to, I was shocked actually, because I never get anything to rise when I use yeast. They smell great!! They did get a little dark on top in the oven, perhaps I cooked them a bit too long or my rack was a little to high. All in all, great recipe!! I will make again!! Thank you!!

    These were great and didn't take long to make. I let it sit overnight. There were none left. My son enjoyed helping with these and to think I hadn't tried making homemade cinnamon rolls because I thought they were too hard to make. Glad I tried and thank you for the simple recipe.

    Incredible! Make sure you "proof" your yeast and it foams before adding the next ingredients. I skipped the raisins and made cream cheese icing instead of the plain glaze. I added the pecans to 1/2 of the icing for myself and left the other 1/2 of the icing plain for my hubby. So delicious and fairly easy to make, especially because I'm more of a "cook" vs. "baker". They are time consuming, as with all baked goods, but well worth it on this Sunday afternoon. Enjoy!

    chefchar_8829768 the first item was 2 (1/4 oz packets so in total 1/2 oz of yeast! I made the same mistake, like say whaaaa??? 8 OZ??? haha that'd be a lot of dough! Yummy recipe tho!

    These rolls tasted good, but my dough did not rise. I followed the recipe to the tee. I make my own dough all the time, so I was surprised that it did not rise. The recipe also is not clear on the filling. If you are to mix it all together or not. I mixed mine, and it worked out fine. They were a bit dry..I also added a bit of cream cheese to the frosting..They were not drop dead good but I liked them for the most part..:

    I love cinnamon rolls! I have my family and friends hooked on these. One of my favorite things to do is make homemade apple sauce and roll it in before I bake them. It's a little messy, but totally worth it!

    These cinnamon rolls turned out very good being that it was my first time ever making this. I was really pleased with the creaminess of the frosting but the dough was a little doughy tasting. Overall a great recipe & I will try it again!
