Oh YUM! We added extra melted butter after they finished baking which made them even oooier and gooier. Had some trouble getting them to rise, but we live in Arizona so the dry air can be troublesome.

This was my first time making these from scratch. I usually by store made ones. I read the previous reviews and heating the oven to 200 degrees then turning it off and let the dough rise for an hour works. I didn't think it would come out right but it did and they are delish! I will definitely be making these again any trying many more recipes from scratch. Thanks Neely's!!!!!!!

These were incredible! I always turn on the oven to a low temp (about 200 degrees then turn it off, let it cool a few minutes then put anything that needs to rise in the oven for about an hour and they rise great. If you do this both times then the dough will rise and you'll have awesome cinnamon rolls!

I had the same problem as lowly below...I didn't think they were going to rise and almost threw the dough out. I did similar things and after a very long time, they did, indeed, rise. They were wonderful!

I didn't read the reviews first and followed the recipe exactly without any alterations. The dough turned out REALLY tough with all 4 cups of flour and i was discouraged and then read the reviews. I decided I should try to see if it would rise and if not, I would throw it out and try again with less flour. After an hour the dough had not risen at all! I turned the oven on low for a few minutes and then shut it off and placed the bowl of dough covered in the warmed but off oven for another hour. To my surprise the dough finally rose!!! I honestly didn't think it would, but it was perfect once it did! I rolled it out and wanted to make these for the next morning. Instead of letting them rise again once in the pan, i placed them in the fridge over night. In the morning I let them rise in a warm oven again for a half hour before baking. They were incredible! My husband said "mmmmm" with every bite and thought they were perfect. He is in love! I will definitely make these again!

Im rating a 5 and I haven't even eaten one yet. I put the nuts, brown sugar and cinnemon - with a little extra cinnemon - in the food processor and topped them with a little of the leftover melted butter - the smell through my home tastes so good I almost feel as though I have already had one. Loved the recipe - was fun to make and my son cannot wait to eat one.

This recipe did not work out for me.... the dough is way too dense- and it wouldnt rise properly. I will NOT be using this recipe again!
