Fried chicken was very very crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. My son-in-law and husband loved it.

I followed this receipe to the T and the chicken taste bland. I was surprise. This chicken looks good on the website, but it is far from that!
I would never waste my time making this chicken again. Neely's BBQ receipes are always own point though, stick to that.

My family loved it and my hubby couldn't stop talking about it. Although, I did use boneless chicken breast due to me grabbing the wrong thing but it came out wonderful and I think we will just keep making it that way without the pesky bone. I think what does it, is the buttermilk marinade. That makes the meat so well seasoned. Great Job!!! This will be a staple in our house.

I love this quick and easy recipe. Finally, chicken with seasoning. The buttermilk gives it a nice twang. I will use this fried chicken recipe again.

My husband said that this was the best fried chicken he had ever had! The only thing I would change would be to add more heat! We like it spicy!!!

Ok so fried chicken has been the bane of my cooking existence.

Well this recipe really made a great dish. On my fryer I had to reduce the cooking temp down to 325. I don't have a thermometer so my gage is probably off on the fryer.

I marinated my chicken for about 8 hours instead of the 2 hours it called for. Only because I knew I wouldn't have time in the afternoon to do it. So did it in the morning so I'd have it ready to cook when I got home for dinner.

The flavor of the chicken was really good and so juicy. The spice from the buttermilk marinade and the flour mixture made the skin so wonderfully crispy and flavorful. A perfect dish.

I also cooked up the collard greens that were in this episode and these 2 dishes together were Fantastic!!

I so wish I could go hang out with the Neelys for a weekend and just have a cooking fest with them :D

I made this today and it was wonderful. The best fried chicken I have ever had! The only thing I changed was frying in canola rather than peanut oil. So Good!

This was good crispy chicken. However, my husband and I didn't find it to be very spicy. I will add more hot sauce and cayenne pepper next time.
