I have made these breakfast sandwiches for the past three years. Sometimes I make heart shaped biscuits and roll them a tad thicker and they are excellent!

The BEST Biscuits that I have ever made and have been cooking almost 30 years. Didn't have heavy cream on hand, so I used milk and butter and still were delicious! Not only did they taste GREAT, but they were so beautiful looking. Thank you Pat and Gina. I have enjoyed your show since you have been on the air. Not only are your recipes always WONDERFUL, but your relationship is so inspirational. Thanks again. :0

I never made biscuits before in my life, but I was watching The Neelys this morning at breakfast time and figured, what the heck ? EASY ! I didn't have any cream, so I just used half and half - worked fine. Required about 1/2 cup more flour for my dough to come together, but the biscuits baked perfectly, and taste great. This is a keeper.

This was my second attempt at make a homemade biscuit. I had watched the episode a week before new years and thought it was a great idea. So i made it New Years Day and it was so easy! and my whole family loved it! Love the Neely's.

Easily the BEST breakfast sandwich ever. Hands Down. I made these with out heavy cream (as I started before realizing it was needed. I substituted instead 3/4 cup milk mixed with 1/3 cup melted, unsalted butter. It curdles and looks lumpy, but that plus one table spoon regular milk will yield the correct consistency for this recipe. I opted to hand form the biscuts, and despite what I thought were generous portions, I made 7! Once cooked, I buttered two of them and stuff those delicious bacon-fat-fried eggs in their and whall-la! Two delicious fried egg sammys! This will definitely become a staple in my cookbook!

I made only the biscuits, and they were easy, tasty, and took only 30 minutes start to finish. What I really like most about this recipe is that it doesn't use butter. I love butter, but in the recipe you get to skip that whole "cut the butter into the flour" stage, or "process until it looks like sand, or peas." Basically, this recipe is foolproof. You sacrifice a little bit of flavor, but the biscuits still are great. And they can be customized however you wish: jalapenos and cheddar, ham and swiss, etc. Be creative. I definitely will make these again in one form or another!
