I'm thinking of making this for co-worker's gifts. Looks like it would be super easy and a great change from the usual holiday cookies.

Just stick the pan of candy in the garage for five or ten mintues and it will harden up. I made biscotti yesterday dipped in chocolate and that's what I did. The choclate hardened and was perfect. Again, I just love Pat and his cooking, but Gina is a bit obnoxious and loud for me.

Really good, but too soft for a Michigan home in the winter wiith the furnace heating our houses. Anyone know how to firm it up so it it more bark like and more stable? With the butter and the cream it needs to be kept very cold and I think kept cold or it will spoil. Still, the flavors are amazing and the gold flakes very pretty.
