I love you guys. You are the sweetest couple in the kitchen.
As for the cornbread stuffing, it is the new favorite of the Rucci house. You guys rock.

Loved it !!! it was a hit with my family and friends...i didn't use the bourbon, I used a dash of red wine ( the cooking kind... I also didn't have time to go buy thyme or parsley..used sage instead..it was divine ! will make it again...thanks Neely's...

tasty and easy, but I skimmed 5 tbs of bacon fat off before adding veggies and still had enough to saute. Didn't need a whole stick of butter of top either..

i AM NOT MUCH OF A COOK, BUT I TRIED THIS DRESSING RECIPE AFTER BOTCHING UP SO MANY OTHER CORNBREAD DRESSING RECIPES OVER THE YEARS FOR THE HOLIDAYS, AND THIS DRESSING WAS EASY TO MAKE AND IT WAS ABSOLUTELY AWESOME! I LOVED THAT IT DIDN'T REQUIRE EGGS AND IT WAS SO SIMPLE TO MAKE. THE ONLY THING IS I USED HALF OF THE AMOUNT OF THYME THAT THEY SAID TO PUT IN IT MY SECOND TIME MAKING IT, BECAUSE THAT SPICE IS STRONG, BUT IT IS GOOD. NO FAULT IN THIS RECIPE.

Have always had southern cornbread dressing (my mom's recipe and our whole family loves it. Wanted something different last year and liked the idea of bacon and pecans in the dressing. It was definitely a hit and will make it again this year but will add some real corbread to it. Very good recipe.

This is a nice quick easy recipe. I didn't put the cashews in there but it still turned out wonderful. It was so moist I didn't even make gravy.
