Super good. I know many have a difficult time finding the egg nog extract/flavoring ... try Amazon, Michael's Craft store, Lorranne oils (online.

I live close to NYC, where you can suppossevily get anything, I have called around even to restaurant suppliers and searched high and low and haven't been able to find egg nog extract, no one knows what I am talking about. Sounds like a great recipe, but I can't find the main ingredient.

I also had difficulty finding the flavoring--then to my surprise stumbled upon it at Lehman's in Kidron, OH. This small bottle is something I assume would be relatively inexpensive to ship.

It ended up tasting like vanilla ice cream. Next time, I will try eggnog ice cream instead of the vaniila ice cream.

    BUT
I SUGGEST JUST USING EGGNOG ICE CREAM DURING THIS TIME OR EGGNOG IN PLACE OF THE MILK IN THE RECIPE..SOUND GREAT:

Please help ! I have looked and called all over even specialty stores and bakery foe the egg nog flavoring and no one knows what I am talking about. Is this liquid or powder. Some thought it might be Coffee Mate and another told me to use pumkin spice powder. Pat Gina made it look so good But I can not make it !
Can not give it a rating yet.

To answer the other reviewers.... it is called an immersion blender - this is a handheld blender that you can immerse in the pot, bowl... of whatever you are making. They are sold in the kitchen dept at most major stores. If you don't have one, don't sweat it, you can always just put everything in your normal blender. The result will be the same, you will just have one more thing to wash!
I have never found eggnog extract/flavoring - it can be special ordered or found in specialty food/bakery stores - I don't have the time/interest to track it down, so I used eggnog ice cream instead. It was yummy - not as fresh as the homemade eggnog found on paulas or altons site, but quick and satisfying.
