First time making oven fried chicken and I'm really impressed. This is guilt-free fried chicken and I'm appreciative. I only used skinless chicken breast and forgot to add the dijon mustard; however, I made a dijon dipping sauce to make up for the mistake. I will certainly try this recipe again.

I followed the recipe exactly, and did not care for this at all. I forgot to take off the skin from the chicken, but I wouldn't think that would make much of a difference. I also turned the chicken halfway through baking, because it was starting to burn. It was extremely bland (which says a lot coming from me, because I don't care for spicy food. It also smoked up my whole house! (Maybe too much cooking spray?? Anyway, I would definitely recommend the oven fried chicken recipe from the Food Network Kitchen. It is awesome!!

I liked it a lot, but a little spicy for my kids. I also dipped the chicken in seasoned flour first, then into the egg mixture and then into the bread crumbs. I used boneless chicken breasts and boneless chicken thighs, but again only because I have an autistic child who won't eat chicken on the bone. It was really easy to prepare and really tasty.

This tastes really good. I love the flavors. my first batch i didnt flip them half way through as someone suggested and the coating got kind of burnt. my second batch i flipped half way through, didn't spray them with olive oil, and they look much better. I took them out 16 mins earlier as well so they wouldnt get too burnt looking and the meat was just fine. I made drumsticks instead of chicken pieces.

This was the best oven fried chicken I have ever had!!! I used chicken breasts instead and it was juicy and delicious. So easy and I made it twice in one week!

I think this was a great recipe but next time I'd make a couple of changes, including adding tabasco or hot sauce to the egg mix. Also, I'd flip the chicken halfway through to make both sides crispy. It was a great dish and I will be making it again.

Great recipe! I used chicken breasts and cut them into strips for chicken fingers and they came out so crispy and flavorful! I didn't use as much hot sauce or cayenne as the recipe called for because I don't like spicy food but since I used seasoned panko, they had plenty of flavor. Also, baking them on a rack is a great way to get them extra crispy all around so definitely don't leave that out.

good however more spice is needed.....
also something they didnt mention but is good idea for any oven "frying" before egg wash dip into seasoned flour. This will allow the egg to hold better which will allow the crumbs to hold better also. One other thing is once coated, let the coating set for a few minutes (on counter in refrigerator what ever. This will allow the coating to adhere better which will help in end product

I have tried every recipe out there for oven fried chicken and this was by far the best! It was moist and full of flavor and no oil. On their show, I thought they marinated it in buttermilk, so I did that before. It was incredible. thank you, ng
