This recipe is wonderful! Marinated the chicken in buttermilk overnight. Added more of the cayenne pepper, garlic powder, black pepper and paprika than called for in the recipe. For those who complained, no..it's not greasy fried chicken but IS a tasty, satisfying alternative. I will definitly make this again.

I tried this recipe for the first time several monthes ago, and have made it several times since. My Family loved it. I read the other reviews and soaked my chicken in buttermilk and doubled the garlic powder and smoked paprika. This is a really easy and tasty chicken dinner

I followed the recipe as is even double on the seasonings as recommended but it was just okay..Above all, I still think fried chicken is always the best way to go, oven fried just doesn't have enough love flavor to it..Sorry Neelys..I'm sticking with my mom's Dixie Fry fried chicken..She passed away 8 yrs ago from breast cancer as of tomorrow and she's probably looking down at me now shrugging her head like "I told you so."

I think this chicken is the "Bomb", meaning, it's awsomely great!! Easy to fix and out of this world!! I wanted the fried chicken taste without the oil, and I certainly got it. It has this great zing from the hot sauce, I used Tiger Sauce. The combination of the hot sauce, egg, mustard is just wonderful. I have a new chicken recipe!! I also removed the chicken skin for an even healthier meal. Oh yeah, I soaked my chicken for 12 hrs. in buttermilk too...that is not in this recipe, but I read it on Alton Brown site...it made the chicken soooooo tender.
I just read all the reviews and I need to say...read the recipe folks...there is no flour in this recipe, and it's important to use the rack on the sheet pan to keep your chicken from getting soggy.....try it again...and read the recipe folks!!

doubles most spices except the cayene and did not add hot sauce-can't eat spicy food. I also made a mistake reading the recipe and added the panko to the egg mixture. Duh. Caught it before I baked it and did it right. Was very tasty-may make it again. As for their on screen activities-if you don't like it don't watch it. I just watch for the recipes and ignore the rest.

Baked 5 large boneless, skinless, chicken breasts. I read all the reviews and sprayed both sides with Olive Oil,doubled up on the garlic powder and Cayenne Pepper. Baked it for 35 minutes and it was perfect. I am very impressed. Will absolutely make this again.
