Meh. I loved the chicken from this episode, but I didn't find much flavor in this and have pretty much all of it left. I will use it for burritos tomorrow I think.

Simple and delicious! My hubby and I both really enjoyed this rice. It was so easy to make and didn't take a lot of time. I will definitely be using this recipe a lot in the future.

I just made this rice. It came out ok. I am not use to making rice if it is not Uncle Ben's. I have the cheap rice and I am learning how to make the perfect rice with it. The next time I make it I will use 3 cups of water, and I think the water was too hot not warm when I cooked it. It was my error. So next time I will make it exactly as the recipe says and I am sure it will come out perfect like the recipe says.

I made this about a month ago for my mom and brother and it was great. I did have to add more chicken broth but it was really good and I'm actually making it again today! It has great flavor.

I too really enjoyed this rice as did my family; I usually season my rice with fresh garlic and garlic seasoning..so it was good to know that someone else does something similar...This truly is the perfect rice and I used rosemary instead of thyme...YUM YUM YUM

This is the best rice I have ever eaten. I had to use a regular onion instead of the shallot because I didn't have any shallots, but it didn't make a difference. YUM.

This rice was awesome! Next time I will use a bigger shallot and 1 more clove of garlic but it was good. I'm always looking for a good side dish that my family will like and this was it. Thank you for the great dish!

This was simple but oh so good the creamyness we had it with Sunny Asian wraps and my children cleaned it up we had no left overs.

Gina girl you got it going on!!!!! That is definitely some perfect rice!!! My Husband and I enjoyed it, it was soooo delicious. My Husband can't stop going to the pot. i watch your show every day and I have your cookbook, I waiting for book #2!!! Thanks and You and Pat, keep bringing those down home southern cooking!!!!
