    I absolutely LOVED this recipe!!! I made it for my mother and mother-in-law for Mother's Day and it was a hit! I wouldn't change anything about this recipe! We even tried dipping them in an Asian dressing and it was great!!! I am looking forward to making these again!

    This was very good. Need a bit more seasoning for my "personal" taste, my daughter ate mushrooms and like them yeah, and although my sweet husband who made them on Mother's Day said who would make them again for special occasion said they were time consumming...but worth the effort.

    The mushrooms were absolutely delicious. I usually make a tempura batter, but the Neely's recipe was much better. Plan on trying it with veggie slices next time.

    I followed this recipe to a "T" and while the fried mushrooms looked and smelled great, the taste was very disappointing considering the effort. Definitely will not make again!

    I made these because my husband loves mushrooms (I'm not a fan of them but I decided to actually give these a try because they looked so good after they were cooked. OMG they were delicious...I think using the Panko bread crumbs instead of regular was a great idea and the red pepper flakes gave that unexpected kick.

    These were so easy and so good. We don't have a deep fryer and did them on the stove top- they took a little longer but turned out just as crispy. I will be making these again!
