This is the best way to serve non broccoli lovers. I have made this several times and the same resullts. NO leftovers--In fact we were scraping the bowl. I used more garlic but followed recipe with balance. It has become my go to side dish and it is so easy to make.
Also a pretty vegie for the holidays.
    Thank you Neelys

I made this recipe over the objections of my guests who always clamor for my grilled asparagus. Well, this was a big hit! I didn't have the parmesan, but you could also dress up the dish with toasted almond slivers. A good tip as mentioned, is to stir the broccoli midway through cooking...Yummy!..Thank you Neelys.

I absolutely love this recipe! I made it as a side dish and brought the leftovers into work for lunch the next day. It was delicious! I'm not big on tomatoes, so I cut back on them, but other than that I really enjoyed this recipe.

I have made this about five times...I cut the big cherry tomatoes in half to help with keeping the broccoli steamy and moist in the oven.
    Great dinner party idea.
Mix in zip lock... put on lined baking sheet... stir after ten minutes in oven...wait for tomatoes to burst and keep checking to stir... when steaming and tomatoes are open just turn off oven and leave it in to keep warm.
Serve in a oven warmed serving dish. Stays crunchy and warm at the table. Stirring helps keep the florets from burning.

YAY! finally a warm crisp veggie to serve with your main dish. It also makes the best left overs....MAKE EXTRA!

this broccoli recipe is absolutely delicous right up there with the smoke sausage in red peppers and beer sauce. Can't wait to serve it with a big steak right off the grill.

Since I tried this recipe I really don't like broccoli any other way! It's hard to believe that broccoli could taste so different by simply roasting it. Often, I skip the shallots and tomatoes and simply season with salt, pepper and red pepper flakes and olive oil. And parmesan makes everything better! Great recipe Neelys!
