Easy recipe but I know I did something wrong. Going to try it again tomorrow. A little mushy in the middle but delicous othe wise.

This has become a family favorite. They ask for it every holiday and party we have. Friends who have tasted it, ask me to bring it to their gatherings too. I love it!!!

Great easy recepie. This is the third time I'm making it.
I did modify it a little. Reduced the butter to 2 tbsps only and only used 2 eggs. Added a few toasted walnuts for added texture prior to placing in the oven. Every body loved it.

This was so good! We had it as dessert with a little vanilla icecream. The next morning I had it for breakfast (it's almost like a french toast casserole with a little milk over it. What an awesome dessert or breakfast recipe. I would like to add just a little more cinnamon next time. I also used a 2-quart dish and I don't think it would fit in a smaller one either.

Hands down the best bread pudding we've ever had!!
We used a 2 QT baking dish...Not sure it would fit in a smaller one.
Delicious-tastey...will be made for company for sure!

OMG, that was soooooo goooood! I have never made bread pudding before, I have never been that crazy about it myself but my Mom loves bread pudding so I wanted to make some for her this Thanksgiving. I used Chalah bread and I let it sit in the milk mixture all day and put it in the oven after dinner. It was great, I loved it. Thanks Gina and Pat.

Thanks Pat and Gina! I made this tonite and could not wait until Thanksgiving Morning to taste. My dad and mom alreay said this was great! It is my first time making and will not be the last. I did add mostly half and half instead of all milk. Also, I used one loaf of French Bread minus the ends and it was perfect! Next time I will add more rum :-

This ends our Christmas Eve and Easter Sunday's dinner. Taken out right of the oven it hardly stays on the table.
For the kids I just use imitation rum. The taste doesn't seem to be compromised.
