    This was soooo good! I made it twice so far. Once following the recipe (maybe adding a little extra cheese and the once with bacon instead of sausage. My husband & I ate EVERY bite! For a non-breakfast food lover... I LOVE this! If you are reading this, YOU NEED TO BE BAKING THIS!

    What a delicious meal! Made it for supper on Sunday night. Prepared it that morning, because I knew it would be a busy day. Came home late in the evening, popped it in the oven and a wonderful, delicious homemade dinner in no time! Since it was only the 2 of us that evening, we had lots of leftovers. I took them into work the next morning - a snowy Monday. What a hit! Everyone who tried it fell in love with it! I sent the recipe to several coworkers! The only complaint - I had to go to the website for cooking instructions. The tv show did not give temp or cook time. DELICIOUS!

    Long-term "foodie" and this is the first recipe I've ever taken the time to review;
    that's how good it is! I usually follow most recipes exactly as shown (unless I pick up some great tips in the reviews but did make just a couple of small changes on my initial try.
    Since we like almost everything spicy, I substituted hot Italian sausage for sweet. It gave us that extra "kick" that we look for, without having to tinker on the spices.
    I also browned the sausage first, cooking it about 90% through, then draining it on paper towels on the side. Added it back to the leeks, just as they were almost done.
    First time I ever made anything with leeks...who knew? I was so surprised at how sweet and tasty and mild they were. And the convenience of making this in advance and then having to only pop it in the oven the next morning? Priceless.
    Next Christmas I'll add just a little red bell pepper to the leeks for that
    holiday-red-and-green.
    Also made the Honey Baked Ham and the Baked Apples from the same episode
    (Neely's Christmas Brunch and my whole family was crazy about everything!

    This recipe was quick and esay and DELICIOUS! I made a " lower fat" version of this recipe to make the recipe "south beach diet friendly". I wanted to use Turkey sausage instead of pork sausge, but the store was out of it. I ended up using pre-cooked turkey sausage links, and I used high fiber wheat bread, unstead of the bagette and fat-free half and half, instead of heavy cream and 2% Milk. Even my 14 year old liked it!
    Great Job Neely's!!

    I made this casserole for New Years morning so my husband and I could watch the Rose parade without having to stop and cook breakfast. It was fabulous and the smell in the house was incredible. I have made a lot of breakfast casseroles before but this was the ONLY one that we have ever liked. I made it again today for my cousins twin baby boys birthday brunch tomorrow. I know it will be a huge hit! GREAT JOB NEELYS!

    I made this for my family on New Year's Day for breakfast. We loved it! I don't make breakfast casseroles often, but I'm glad I tried this one. Thanks Neelys!

    Neeleys, you put your foot in it! I made this on Christmas Eve and put in the fridge for Christmas morning brunch. I made it exactly as noted in recipe. I put it in while we were opening presents and didn't have to cook a thing on Christmas morning. It was perfect and everyone requested it again ASAP. Having do ahead meals on occasions like Christmas morning is essential. I'd like to try it with some lower-fat ingredients and see if it is still any good. If not, I will go back to this perfection regularly. Thank you!

    I made this casserole for Christmas. It was my first casserole. All my guest love it and asked for the recipe. I tried other recipes from this episode and they were all great. Now Im hooked on casseroles. I will make it again for the new years. Thanks Neelys, great job.
