Myhubby loved these cookies. I made them a lot thicker than the recipe says to do and they very moist and chewy. I also tried another version and I enclosed a hershey kiss in the middle of a ball of the dough and baked them - awesome!

These cookies do remind me of shortbread cookies - which I love - they are absolutely scrumptious! I just made my second batch and they are all but finished. I will continue to make them.

I'm on the 3rd batch of these cookies. Everyone that has one wants more and they are the best tasting butter cookies I ever made.

I was wanting more of a Butter cookie and that is what I got. So good. Had fun making them up and they were very good. I made some up and took to work with me a big hit. I will make these again and again.

These cookies are amazing i love them there sweet and with the touch of cinnamon it makes a great sweet snack .Definitly will do them again .

In regards to the person who stated, they prefer a more sugar taste and not a butter taste. Then they should have followed a recipe for Sugar Cookies This recipe is for BUTTER cookies... They taste great!

I wanted these cookies to taste more like sugar/butter cookies. These tasted more like shortbread cookies. Don't get me wrong I like shortbread. I guess I just expected a different consistency.

These were good for butter cookies! Soo rich and buttery, I couldn't eat more than 3 at a time! I think next time I will use 1 stick less butter, because I was hoping they would be more sugar cookie like. They are really buttery, so be warned!

these cookies were amazing huge hit with my kids. we made some fall cutout cookies and these were gone by nights end. will be making these again AND again !!! thanks Neely's for sharing this wonderful family recipe !!!
