    I didn't make this but I had it at a party this weekend. One would never think of putting all these ingredients together, but it all combines so well! It was delicious. My favorite thing at the party.

    WHY WOULD YOU MAKE THIS SALAD IN DECEMBER ????????????????????
    None of these ingredients are in season .
    Try making it in the summer when the melons are ripe and sweet. It's light and refreshing . Easy to make . Great potluck side . Something different .

    I fixed this recipe for our Family Christmas Dinner, and they all loved it. Would leave the jalapeno pepper out if very young children would be eating it. However, the family teenagers really liked it.

    YUCK. This was disgusting. Don't EVER make this. I had it at a party and the host told me where she got the recipe (she hated it as well as everyone else and I told her that I would reveiw it. No one finished ther bowl and I felt so bad because of such expensive ingredients. Everything was fresh, the shrimp tasted ok on its own but all together it was GROSS. If you want to "go out of the box" try something else. This was nasty! Good thing it wasnt my money that got wasted.

    This is an excellent recipe. Taste great for starters. This can be served as an main course with a pesto toast or something like that. And this is also great as a salad before dinner. Love it!

    I made this 2 nights ago to go with steak and corn and it was AWSOME... I wasnt sure how it would be with all the diffrent flavors but it turned out great. I used 2 pounds of shrimp cause we are big shrimp eaters. I am still snacking on it and the leftovers are even better!!! Would also be GREAT for a summer lunch by itself!! Will deff be making this one again!!

    Wow!! The Neely's hit the nail right on the head with this one. The shrimp goes very well with the melon and onions. My hubby is a very picky eater and he absolutely loved this recipe. I will definitely be making this again and again!

    I attended Kimberly from Dolton IL. gathering and this was a big hit. It is a cool refreshing meal for a nice summer picnic. Kim is an awesome cook and this was a meal she was able to please everyone. Great job!!
    I too will be adding it to my summer menu.
