This is a great recipe. I made it for my husband, sister and her friend and they loved it! My sister thought it was one of my signature dishes. She didn't realize I was experimenting on them. Because I do not like a very fishy taste, I used chicken stock instead of seafood stock. It worked out quite well. Flavor was great. Recipe was very easy! Thank you Neely's for such a wonderful recipe.

This recipe is very simple and flavorable. It flows great with the dirty rice featured on the Girl Power Episode. I made the rice the day before using andouille. Its a party when you add the Hurricanes! GREAT! is all I need to say.

Over the weekend I made your Shrimp Creole recipe. Wow - what a great meal! In my home, we are still finishing up this soup-like dish and continue to enjoy the freshness and taste of this dish. Unfortunately, I couldn't add as much "heat" to it as I wanted to because someone in my home can't take the heat. I think this recipe would have been even better had I been able to add more heat, but it was still delish. I think I'll add a chopped jalapeno without the seeds to it if I make it again. It just seems to need that extra "punch." You are a great team, and I wish you both the best. Keep the love in your food.

My family and I love creole cuisine and this dish is superb!!!!!

Even though I used chicken stock instead of seafood stock, it still turned out very flavorful. Keep 'em coming Neely family!!

Made this recipe last night for the first time. Had all the ingredients on hand, it took about 5 minutes to chop everything (I always add extra garlic so I used 6 cloves minced. I also like things pretty spicy so I added another 1/2 tsp of cayenne to the 1 tsp called for, also added a few extra dashes of worchestershire, and hot sauce. The sauce took about 40 minutes from start to finish (with 30 or so minutes of that time letting the sauce simmer. Super Easy! Served it the traditional way over rice with plenty of sliced green onion. This recipe was a huge hit with everyone in my family! It was savory and spicy and fresh tasting from the green onion. Perfect for a cold winter night!

I made this recipe last night. It was packed with flavor.
Since my husband does not like shrimp, I made the recipe with chicken stock and with the vegetables. I added some extra vegetables because I was not using any proteins. The sauce was so tasty. He ate it with pork and I ate it with shrimp.
I will make it again for sure. It was also spicy, just the way I like it.
    Very Very Good

Excellent! I made with Chicken stock and cut up chicken thighs this time. Next time I will use the shrimp and shrimp stock and (even add some sausage or more vegetables, the sky is the limit with this recipe. Very healthy too!

I've been making shrimp creole for years, but was wasting my time using a bland recipe from Betty Crocker. THIS was amazing!! I couldn't find any seafood/shrimp stock at the grocery store so I substituted 2 cups of vegetable stock instead and threw in a few extra dashes of Worcestershire. What I love most about this dish is that it's deliciously spicy without forcing me to chug water the entire time I'm eating it. Served over white rice this was the PERFECT dinner! I'll be making this one over and over! :
