Confession #1: I hate mashed potatoes. I need something to flavor them up! Confession #2: While very accomplished in the kitchen, I've never made a decent mashed potato. I always ruin them.
Well, Pat & Gina, you cured both of my problems! These are some of the best non-sour cream laden potatoes I've ever had. The broccoli is dynamite. Your directions and proportions are also perfect. I brought such a smile to my hubby's face! Thank-you!

Way too much butter for that many potatoes. Who do these people think they are, Paula Deen?

Thankx to this recipe, I discovered that taking 3069954 potatoes and smashing them actually causes them to condense considerably down to about 8 potatoes. I love educational recipes!

It needed more milk, broccoli, cream, and butter. Besides that, it wasn't bad.

My family ate the whole pot at one sitting and wondered why there wasn't more! They are not the easiest to please, especially the grandchildren with vegetables, so hats off to you! Thank you and please keep them coming!

So, I just made it and tried it. It was ordinary and tasteless. I wish I would of added a cube of chicken bullion to the boiling water for the potatoes and steamed my broccoli over that in my Bambo steamer -with goya veggie season sprinkled over the broccoli. That’s how cook/steam my broccoli and that comes out amazing. So...I doctored it up with some brown sugar, honey, garlic & onion powder.

It sounds really good, but what is the real measurement for the potatoes?

Man, I was so tired after peeling 3069954 potatoes, I didn't even get to the rest of the recipe! I think I passed out.

Sounds yummy, but where do I find 3,069,954 pounds Yukon gold or russet potatoes?

I only have 3069900 pounds of potatoes. What changes to the other ingredient amounts should I change to make it work?
