I just made this recipe for dinner and it is so good. I added a little bit of garlic for taste and it is the best. Thanks for the tip on cooking the potatos in cold water - didn't know that. I really enjoy your show - keep up the good work.

We tried this recipe this evening and it was as great as it looked on television. The presentation is nice due to the additional green color. The primary flavor was still the potato, but the broccoli added that something special. It is a recipe we will use again at our house.

This was great! I added finely chopped green onion for flavor depth. Goes great w/ gravy of any kind.
Next time, I'll put it in a casserole dish, sprinkle w/ shredded cheese and chopped bacon and bake for a final ta da!

This side dish was very easy to make and tasted much better than you might think. Be sure to use cold water when boiling potatoes. The Neely's tell you on the program so I tried it. I do believe starting with cold salted water does make a difference. My This is a great way to get greens into your diet. My father who hates I mean "hates" broccoli loved this dish and said he doesn't want mashed potatoes any other way. A true 5 star experience!!!
