    Tried this for Christmas ham and was not happy with the results. The rub was just too over powering. I marinated it over night as per recipe, made the glaze, baked as directed, etc. The glaze is very good but the paprika flavor was just too much.

    Ever since I first made this ham recipe several years ago, I have been made the designated ham maker for all of our family holiday parties! Even people who refrain from eating pork throughout the year clamor for this ham! Thank you for making me the hit of the party. We absolutely LOVE this recipe!

    I woke up this morning wondering what to do for dinner and as I was looking thru the circular for my weekly coupons I kept seeing hams on sale throughout the papers and knew that I had to make this ham!

    I made it last year for christmas and it was deeeelish!!!! I did not pre-season and wrap the ham oops. I tend to fly by the seat of my pants and often fail to plan so I just baked it in the oven no wood chips and made it with the glaze.I basted the ham every 20 min or so and it was the most fantastic ham I have ever made. Got rave reviews. That evening as I was putting away the leftovers I realized that I left the little airplane size bottle of bourbon in my purse so it never made it into the glaze, another oops. Regardless, HANDS DOWN best ever! Thank you.

    This is the best recipe I have ever used to bake my ham. The flavor is awsome!! All of my dinner guest said it was the best ham they had ever had. Thank you so much. Anyone who uses this recipe will not be sorry. Thank you so much Neely's.

    This is - without a doubt - the most fabulous ham I have ever made. I smoked it on my electric brinkman smoker with hickory chunks for about 3 hours, replacing the wood chunks twice. I made the sauce right before serving, cooking it down until it was nice and thick and syrupy. I take a lot of happiness and pride in cooking holiday meals for my family, and I know I will make this special ham again and again. It was spectacular!

    Absolutely the best smoked ham recipe I've tried and I've tried several. From the rub to the glaze, everyone loved it. Will definitely make this one again, and not just for the holidays.

    OMG this was the best. That dry rub was excellent, allowing in just enough smoked flavor in. Frankly, I only joined food network just to rate this recipe. My new favorite recipe! Highly recommended.

    I am telling you, this is the absolutely BEST recipe for a ham and I just recently tried a different one because I like trying new recipes.....I wish I had stuck to this ham recipe for my Easter ham. It is so juicy yet full of stomach popping flavor. I have recommended this recipe to all that ate my ham as well as those that did not have the pleasure of tasting my ham. : This is a new family recipe for me. Thank you, NEELYS!!!
