I tried the meatballs in this recipe with Prego spaghetti sauce. My hubby loved the meatballs. Great texture and flavor. I made enough meatballs for me to double the batch and freeze some. I used shredded Parmesan instead of grated and added a little onion powder.

I made these and they turned out great! I made them with whole wheat pasta and just added a little grated onion to the meatball mix and was pleasantly suprised. Thanks Gina and Pat!

My family really liked the kick from the red pepper flakes in the sauce and the meatballs. The tip of soaking the bread in milk and THEN squeezing excess was very helpful and I'll use it over and over again.

The meatballs were good but there wasn't enough sauce. I would double the sauce next time. Also, I would only put in half the amount of red pepper flakes because it is spicy!!

I liked the meat balls. But the sauce was not great. We have spaghetti often I wanted something different. I'll make the meatballs again but not the sauce.

My entire family went goo-goo over this one. Great recipe thank you and down to earth. There is a lot of recipes on this site that would not do anything with because they are "fancy" and I have 4 kids that don't want "fancy" they want down to earth. Thank you for providing that. :

going to try this real soon. The Neely's have a very interesting spin on traditional recipes, I love that, because as a home cook, so do I.

Made this for my family and they just loved the meatballs. They loved the sauce. My husband who is a very picky eater and not usualy too eager to try something different really enjoyed this dish. while preparing, I wasn't sure what the purpose was for the bread, but it really made sure the turkey was moist.

This is a winner. I added an extra clove of garlic to the meatballs (I like lots of garlic and used basil paste instead of dried (it was all I had and it was PERFECT. The meatballs were so moist and so FLAVORFUL!!!!!
Its hard to a find classic recipe that substitutes turkey in a way that doesn't compromise the flavor. This is that recipe.
