Jamieson was a big fan of these, but I have to say I didn't think they were especially fabulous. The panko is great, because it is not a bit greasy and it fries well...but I didn't think these were anything special to write home about. The honey mustard sauce was really good, though.

I made these tonight for dinner. They were fantastic ! Mild and moist and a very good flavor. I had strips from the KFC this last week. These beat those hands down, no comparison. We like a milder strip so I used 1/2 cayenne and 1/2 Mild Paprika. Experimented with one strip (the last one by adding sweet coconut to the bread crumbs (1/2 bread crumbs - 1/2 Sweetened Coconut, and it turned out very good - coconut chicken! This is a great simple recipe to build on.

The chicken tenders were crunchy and delicious, I don't think I'll ever go back to regular breadcrumbs again! Even my dad, who isn't a fan of honey mustard sauce, loves this. We ended up eating most of the chicken as soon as it came out of the fryer : The only thing I would change is to add a little bit more seasoning to the breadcrumbs.

I made them for my husband who is a very picky eater and he loved them. The only change I made was that I substituted seasoning salt for regular salt. This is a great quick dish that everyone will enjoy.
