this is one of the best sweet potato recipes that I have ever made. I tried it out for the first time on company and it was a hit. Ironically, I don't even like sweet potatoes, so was only serving them to our guests. After one tasted I was hooked. I did not use as much brown sugar as called for as the potato itself is plenty sweet. I also use low fat cream cheese.

I made this dish for Thanksgiving this year and it was a big hit! It was great to find a new way to do sweet potatoes! The only comment I got from family was that it was a little on the sweet side, could probably do with a smaller amount of brown sugar.

These are my go to sweet potatoes. The first time I made them I ran out of time to get the meal out at the same time so I decided not to bake them the second time and ended up serving them as mashed sweet potatoes. Last Thanksgiving everyone loved them. I added the streusel topping from Tyler's Stuffed Sweet Potatoes with Pecan and Marshmallow Streusel. It is honestly the perfect combination. That was the best Thanksgiving sweet potatoes I've ever made. Top two of the best I've ever had. I am making them again this Christmas. It think that it is the cream cheese and the black pepper that makes these so special and different. Even my dad who hates sweet potatoes loves these.

Outstanding recipe. I don't usually eat sweet potatoes, but I wanted to try this recipe and I am so glad I did. This is definitely a keeper! Love it!

I honestly thought it was a little a the dry side, a little too rich. Flavor was OK- but won't make these again.
