This dressing is great. It is much better than anything from a bottle. Normally, I hate French dressing but, this one is a hit!!!!

This is 100 times better than the bottled dressing! It's tangy and just the right amount of sweetness. The flavor is amazing. My family loves it!

Too much vinegar. Can cut it down, but there wasn"t much flavor.

We enjoyed this salad. The dressing does have a little more zest than the usual French dressing which was a nice change. I don't understand the negative reviews unless they make a recipe only to have it taste like every other recipe. Variety is the spice of life!

My family and friends loved this dressing. It has some tang and wakes up your taste buds. A bit less vinegar may be preferable if you like a sweeter based dressing but it was great for our tastes.
Thanks again Neely's. You are so fun to watch!

I made this for a family dinner celebrating my parents 50th anniversary. We had beautiful beef filets for dinner. Lettuce wedges sounded like an appropriate salad course (a retro touch, but mom doesn't care for bleu cheese dressing so I tried this. Used pancetta instead of bacon and added sliced green onions. Delish! After dinner my 26-year old son came into the kitchen and asked if there were any salad wedges left and he and my daughter polished them off. Big hit!

This recipe has too much vinegar - use 1 tablespoon instead of 1/4 cup then it will taste much better.

I made this dressing exactly as written. It is so vinegar dominant most people are not going to enjoy this as a French Dressing. I like the taste of vinegar so that is not the problem.
