I served this tonight to rave reviews. One woman who never eats desserts loved it. Another passed until she saw the other eating it! I don't understand the 4 star rating. This is the best sundae I've ever had, and it was sooooo easy. I used chocolate and vanilla ice cream - couldn't find the third flavor. It was just fine with two. I topped my sundaes with a cherry on top of the peanutes, and I even forgot to put out the cookies. One point FYI, if you're serving 8, you don't need to double the recipe. But I'm glad I have a lot left over, for my mocha lattes!

Without the peanut butter, this makes a fantastic, quick and easy hot fudge!

I thought this was absolutely fabulous! I was a little concerned that it would be too sweet but it wasn't overly so. For 3 ingredients that most cooks have in their pantry, it couldn't be easier or tastier. If you're a fan of chocolate and peanut butter, give this a try, you won't be sorry.

Oh my! I made it as written and am completely happy with it just the way it is. Very good on ice cream, as a fruit dip and drizzled over pancakes. Most of it was eaten by itself with a spoon!

I've made this recipe several times and it turns out amazing each time. Just make sure to keep it on low heat so that the sweetened condensed milk doesn't burn. Also, I used all sweetened condensed milk, instead of the heavy cream and it turned out fabulous. I use some milk at the end to thin it out to pouring consistency. Top it on some vanilla bean ice cream, salted peanuts, and you're ready to go!

The online recipe does not even list Golden Syrup although it gives instruction for stirring it in...Having said that, if made as she does on the show then the recipe is wonderful

If you like the combination of chocolate and peanut butter, even just a little bit, you need to try this recipe. Now, I just used a little heavy cream instead of the evaporated milk-- no sense in opening up a whole can just for a couple tablespoons. I've also made it with Golden Syrup and another time with light Karo and haven't noticed a difference. It's a favorite in our house. Sometimes it doesn't even make it onto the ice cream... It's the stuff dreams are made of and a must for any chocolate/ pb fans!

I love this recipe, I used whipping cream and light karo syrup instead of sweetend condensed milk and golden syrup. I have made this 3 times and found that less peanut butter is better when keeping, because it keeps the oil down and stops seperation. My family loved this served with fudge brownies and heath ice cream.

This was easy and delicious. Use 3/4 c. of sweetened condensed milk instead of the syrup and cream (as she does on the tv show. So fast and my family licked the bowls!

Golden syrup is a sweetener used frequently in British cooking. If you can't find it locally, it is obtainable on-line from a number of sources. I think the most commonly known brand is Lyle's. I get mine from a British tea room in Wilimington, Delaware. flavourofbritain.com
