I really liked this recipe as it was super easy to make. I normally just buy honey mustard dressing, but it's not available where I live. I used sunflower oil instead of grapeseed oil, and it turned out well. As others mentioned, this was slightly bitter, but I just added a touch more honey. I also used less oil than what was called for, because it seemed like too much.

Two things to think about with this recipe: First, I’m not sure, but I think that this recipe calls for Rapeseed oil (as mentioned in the introduction instead of Grapeseed oil as listed in the ingredients. Rapeseed oil and Canola oil are practically the same thing, so that’s what I used and it was perfect. Second, it took me a lemon and a half to get the right amount of juice. But I could probably have done well enough with just one lemon. My suggestion is to add half of the suggested lemon juice, shake and taste. You can always add more later.

We have been preparing a version of this dressing for nearly a year. Leave off several items we do not get locally in stores. Just use two and works fine...

Very good dressing. I am an oil and balsamic girl, but this really livens up a salad. Just loved it. I used olive oil and only about 1/2 cup...but still really good.

I put a little less lemon juice and used extra virgin olive oil. I love the way that it turned out. Depending on your liking adding more of oil or honey will help the tartness.

This is the perfect honey mustard dressing for my family. I have had to double the recipe since we go through it so quickly. I think this time I will triple. it since I have found a larger jar. I think that the grapeseed oil is essential since olive oil would give an off flavor to the honey. Canola Oil might work in a pinch.

After mixing the dressing and tasting it, I thought it was a little bitter. I didn't have grapeseed oil and substituted olive oil. Maybe that was the problem as that was about all I could taste, even though I had added only 3/4 cup. I ended up putting more honey in to sweeten up the taste. Even with all of that, I was less than pleased with the result.

This recipe is just wonderful. It has a pleasant, piquant flavor to balance the honey.
