wonderful, once you taste homemade you can't go back to a box. You can't taste the honey it just adds a depth of sweetness. Great with or without alcohol.

ok, well I didn't use any booze, HOWEVER...this recipe is so wonderful whether you want to booze-it-up or not. The combo of the honey and the brown sugar is so great. I used dark brown sugar, which works just as well. I disagree with one of the other comments, I think that the honey gives this drink a fantastic flavor!

I have never had hot chocolate like this! I love it, I can't wait to have my next cup! It is easy to make - I used semi-sweet Ghiradelli chocolate and Meyers Dark Rum. Topped it with a swirl of real whipped cream.
Oh boy is this great! I slept like a baby too! :^D
Nigella is the best!
