Great for Hanukkah brunch. I wouldn't necessarily serve this with the main course as it's so sweet. But it is perfect as an after meal treat (topped with whipped cream or ice cream if you're not having meat or serve it for brunch during Hanukkah. Yummy in the tummy!!!

This was my first time making latkes and I liked this recipe because of the apples. I did have a hard time frying them. It took a long time to brown and my oil was hot. However, I did manage to make and enjoy some. I put powdered sugar on them and they reminded me of funnel cakes. I liked the taste and I liked that they were not overly sweet.

Great recipe! I made these using all organic ingredients, the greek yogurt/milk combination and whole wheat flour....they were excellent! My children adore them topped with a little powdered sugar. I love the fact that the apple latkes are actually quite healthy when using whole wheat flour and greek yogurt which has a lot of protein and less sugar! Thanks Nigella!

Good and easy! If you enjoy latkes...try this recipe, pay attention to cost and any significant differences from other latke recipes. Enjoy! Annie...Fremont...CA
