My mother in law is a fan of Nigella's cooking and had a batch of this made when my husband and I came for a visit. Needless to say it was delicious! I made a batch when I got home (as per the original recipe, no changes and it came out perfect! It's great mixed into some greek yogurt (or plain, flavorless yogurt works with some honey. Mmmm!

I was so disappointed with this granola. Admittedly, I did not follow the recipe exactly: I increased the cocoa and the brown sugar by a couple of tablespoons each based on previous reviews, and did not use the sesame seeds (forgot to buy them. Maybe the sesame seeds would have added much-needed flavor. I used spanish peanuts with skins (as Nigella used on the show instead of raw peanuts. My granola did dry out and was the right consistency, but it was more cereal-like than big chunks. The flavor was very bland, and not even close to sweet enough for my taste. And the $5.99 rice syrup will sit in my pantry until the next time I move, reminding me of my failure.

I was very excited about trying this granola recipe. However, this did not set up for me. It was 'gooey' and did not crisp up or was as crumbly as it looked on TV. When you consider all the ingredients required, this recipe is rather expensive not to turn out the right consistency. I do not recommend using this granola recipe.

This recipe was disappointing. I left out the ginger, and added some slivered almonds to the recipe. The granola never got crunchy, no matter how long I cooked it for. I liked the chocolate taste, but the 'nutty' taste was overwhelming. I prefer a more oatmeal like taste to my granola. It made a huge amount of granola, but no one in my house liked it. I couldn't even give it away. This is the first Nigella recipe I have ever made that I didn't like.

I was really looking forward to this granola recipe as my family loves granola. It sat in the oven for well over an hour (closer to 2 hours and never set. It wasn't crumbly and crunchy as it appeared on the episode and I just have a pan of damp food that has been wasted. Quite unhappy.

I made the recipe as stated with an addition of 1/4 cup golden and dark raisins, because I love raisins in Granola. I also lowered the baking temp to 275 per the other reviews. I mixed it once during baking (60 minutes and it was very good. I am chomping it with milk as I write.

I'm a HUGE fan of Nigella, so when I saw this recipe, I had to make it. It was absolutely scrumptious and was gone faster than I can make the second batch! I definitely recommend this recipe!

This was a good recipe, but I did tweak it to my liking a little bit. First, I used 1/2 cup of cocoa instead of 1/4. I've made several of her recipes and none of them seem to use enough cocoa. Also, I didn't use ginger, sunflower seeds or rice syrup. Instead I used slivered almonds for the seeds and dark corn syrup for the rice syrup, and no ginger! Cook closer to 40 minutes as it can turn quick! Delicious!!!!

I thought this was just scrumptious!
I didnt add the sugar, and added almonds, hazelnuts and pistacios instead of peanuts.
Also I didnt really like it by itself, but when i mixed it with a tiny bit of milk it really brought out the cinnamon flavour and tasted AMAZING!
    YUM YUM YUM!
Also, especially nice (but very naughty sprinkled over some vanilla icecream
