I ordered the gold stars, buttons AND the gold/silver tin liners from the same uk website. Shipping does not take long and the cost is very affordable! It is really what makes the whole treat and has such great impact. If you are going to make these at Holiday time, be sure to order in advance and/or order enough to get you through the season as they run out quickly. You will see on the site that these items are their #1 sellers (probably due to Nigella all year round but especially at Holiday when the episode tends to air again. Also I didn't use all of mine last Xmas and used the few leftover in the early Summer -- they kept beautifully!! Happy cooking

These were so easy and so much fun to make -- perfect for a kid birthday party or superbowl party! I did have the same issue with the peanut butter being a bit too thin so I would suggest adding a bit more confectioners sugar or brown sugar until you get a firmer consistency. These were really really great -- very pleased with the outcome and easy recipe.

What a great peanut butter cup without all of the artificial components!! Fairly easy and fun to make with kids. These were a hit. I used silver and gold petit four cases. I did not find any decor to put on top so they were sans 'bling'. Will order the gold stars in advance as advised in previous posts.

Not sure what happened! Followed the recipe to a T, but the peanut butter mixture ended up quite oily, and then failed to set in the fridge :( Also, there was way more of the peanut butter mixture than melted chocolate, which threw the whold peanut butter-to-chocolate ratio off! Will need to experiment with this recipe or find a fair equivalent!

These were a really nice treat and my whole family loved them, I thought it would be a good idea to role the the mix into melted chocolate which turned into a sticky but yummy mess.
The second time I made these I used half of the icing sugar and also added salted peanuts to the mix which I think balaced out the sweetness nicely.

These were a little bit of heaven for my other half, being dairy & wheat intolerant I was able to adapt them for him - definitely in his good books at the moment!
