A-ma-ziiii-ng!!! The best breakfast Ive ever done for myself!! And it is not only that it is super easy, but the result is incredible!! I didnt have cranberry juice so I used a lunch cherry juice from my kids; i didnt add the sugar though. The juice with the cinnamon and the plums...wow! if i could bottle the smell in my kitchen...this would be it!!

I did not make the French toast (yet but I just made the cinnamon plums, and they are delicious!! I did not have any cinnamon sticks on hand, but I used about a teaspon and a half of ground cinnamon and added about a teaspon of vanilla extract. Cannot wait to eat this compote with my oatmeal tomorrow morning!
