Oh gosh this is just magical. I made this tonight and served it really warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream; their jaws dropped! It's super rich, super dreamy and OOZES chocolate when you take your spoon and delicately pierce through the almost shell like crackling exterior. This is a lovely lovely thing to have in your repertoire. Try it!

These are the most decadent, luscious, unbelievably mouthwatering pots of chocolaty goodness on the planet. They are also so simple you could be brain dead and nearly pull it off. Try it :

I ate this in a cafe and fell in love ! After many days of searching for this recipe , I found Nigella's recipe. My husband loves it !

I have a question though, how do I transfer the pudding from a ramekin to on to a plate ?

I love this recipe, but make it in half cup ramekins since it's so rich. It still needs 12-13 minutes in my oven. I also love to put a bit of fruit in the bottom - slices of banana, fresh raspberries, or sliced sauteed pears, then pour the batter over. I have kept them for up to 4 days in the refrigerator after baking - just put them in the microwave for 30- 45 seconds and they will warm, but not be quite as gooey. They work well at 5000 ft altitude too.

I made these for a girls' night in, and they were a definite hit! These were very quick and easy to fix, and came out tasting very much like the hot lava cakes we love so much at good restaurants. The cream was a nice touch, but not necessary at all. I will definitely be making these again!

Made this recipe for the first time last night and even though I cooked the puddings about a minute or so longer than I should have (they ended up being like a brownie on the very outside with a nice gooey center they were really good. Adding the cream at the end was a nice touch.

I made this for my family and have made it at least 6 times since then for friends and family. Everyone raves about them. I am even buying more ramekins so I can make it in double batches. It is unbelievably simple and delicious!
