I was skeptical but needed a tasty dessert to follow a spicy dinner. This sounded perfect - and it was! Incredibly easy and tasty as well. I'm waiting on the second batch to be ready for dessert tonight! I was a little heavy handed on the tequila and added a splash of limeade but it wasn't too strong at all. Only suggestion to make it better would be a thin shortbread cookie! Delicious!

Delicious! Served in a salted margarita glass and it is the most delightful summertime treat. Thanks for the recipe!

Made this ice cream for the old folks, great stuff. After I put on some alcohol whip cream on top we had to stop at two bowel because we were getting pie-eyed. Also I left out the liquor and add different flavors (chocolate, strawberry, cherries, as well as cookies, marshmallows etc. to each new batch of ice cream. Real fun for me and my grand kids and tastes great sometimes.

This ice cream is seriously addicting! I'm lucky any of it even makes it into the freezer to set up. SOOOO good and everyone I have made it for absolutely raves about it and everyone requests it time and time again! Thanks Nigella :

The EASIEST ice cream I've ever made. My DH and children had some after dinner several nights ago and LOVED it. Truly a great flavor!!! The kids ask for more of it every night after dinner (we don't allow it as they are 3, 5 and 7 yrs of age.:

I threw a BBQ dinner to celebrate 4th of July with some Expat friends. Our friend brought this recipe for dessert. It was a HIT! It was delish and quite refreshing on a very hot and humid Dutch evening. Thank you Nigella, your recipe was delightful!!!!!!!!

The easiet showstopper dessert ever. I mixed it up, stuck it in the fridge to chill completely. At no time did I whip it up myself. I poured it into my Cusinart ice cream machine (the $50 one and soooo worth it and let it do all the work. It was creamy and heavenly and pack a ton of flavor. A big hit last night at a Mexican dinner!

Had Mexican Night for for my monthly book club meeting and it was a big hit! I made sure the powerded sugar was completey dissolved in the tequila and triple sec then blended everything together until frothy with a han held blender and froze over night. It was fabulous. I will make again and again. **Highly Recommend** P.S. Paired it with the Mexican Chocolate Cookies and the Sopa Meca dish. ...Outstanding...
