    I hate peas ... I honestly do. I made this cause it looked good and fancy. So I made it with Pancetta Meatload and homemake mac and cheese .. it was soooooooo good. I don't eat left overs and I eat this the next day for lunch ... this concoction is great. YUM ... I'm so glad Nigella is on the Food Network.

    Our grocery store did not have butterhead lettuce in stock, however it tasted just as good without it. I found that it did need salt, though. Other than that, it was superb!

    I will never make peas another way ever again! I've never had peas with lettuce, but was so pleased with the flavor and added texture. Great green veg dish even my two year old ate.

    I really like this dish. I know I would like it the way she made it. I've been making it for years with a few additions. I usually add 3/4 teas. sugar, 1/2 teaspoon of thyme and 1/2 cup baby carrots. Cook until carrots are done. Everyone who likes peas has liked this dish. I can't wait to try this whole menu. Looks delicious. This is my first time to see Nigella. I really enjoyed the show.
