Surprisingly, my younger children (ages 7 & 9 devour this dip. They request it often.

Made this for a party and it was gone before most of the guests arrived. Was skeptical about the ingredients, but then was pleasantly surprised. Will make this dish again!!!

I really, really wanted to like this. The cheese overpowered the avocado. I did like the combined flavors of the jalapenos, scallions and roquefort. If I do make this again, I'll decrease the amount of cheese and see if that makes a difference.

It's not guacamole I tell everyone that before they try it. It's different but good even better IMHO. It's so easy to prepare and the heat the jalapeno gives it -sends it over the edge. I having experimented a bit with this recipe add the juice of a whole lime - it needs the acid, and it also helps with keeping the discolouration of the avocado (it goes to brown at bay.
I also add a bit more avocado.
I have used straight blue cheese, but it's not as good - use less than the recommened amount if using normal blue cheese.

WOW !! Absolutely Delicious! I didn't have a block of blue cheese on hand so instead of using blue cheese & sour cream, I used chuncky blue cheese dressing instead. This dip is a HIT at every party. You HAVE to try this recipe!

I used blue cheese, I know not a new idea. I added sun dried tomatoes and fried bacon bits as well as some spicy salt. Huge hit at the party.

I love blue cheese and guac and still really wasn't sure if this was going to be very tasty. I was so pleasantly surprised. I had this at a party and everyone who tried it liked it.

You would never expect this combination to work but it does and it is so lovely! I do not like traditional guacamole but thought I would try this as I love roqueforte. I used a blue cheese made from goat milk. I only put a little sour cream in it. This is amazing. I highly recommend this recipe. Another winner from Nigella.
