My 9 year old gave it 5 stars. She doesn't like tomatoes so we made it with tomato puree instead of chopped toms. We put some garlic in it to. It was very watery - if you use puree instead of chopped, I recommend adding the water a little at a time. Delicious flavors. We will definitely make it again.

This is my new comfort food dish! This was the quickest dish to make about 15 min. total.I added a little bit of minced garlic and crushed red pepper. I like Garlic and some heat in my food. Top with any type of cheese that melts, I used some shredded Mozz. My husband enjoyed this. He said it was really good. I love it. Delish.

I thought this was delicious, but I do love salami. I used picollini (aka small bow ties and put in 1 sprig rosemary and 4 sprigs thyme for the garni and pulled once cooked. My kids like this quite a bit, even my 6 yr old who rarely likes tomatoes unless they're on pizza. I think this recipe's only limitation is it won't feed many people, but may make a good side dish with a main protein or as a cocktail party/appetizer kind of dish. Nevertheless, quite delicious....thanks Nigella!

quite good and very to make simple. Next time I will use only the pasta water rather than pasta water pluc the 1/2 can of water...both made it too liquidy. (I doctored up with some tomato paste... I noticed in another review mention that the bay leaves were omitted from the recipe online. In the episode she mentions adding two bay leaves or a garni.

I really liked this easy recipe. It's not a powerhouse knock you out recipe, but it's tasty. I liked the combination of flavors. It was a perfect dish for me to bring to work for lunch. I also liked the simplicity of it.

Being anglo/italian I started this receipe with an onion for flavour and used panchetta cubes and added grated parmisan at the end. Great idea which can be adapted to suit all tastes. I had never used beans with pasta other than in a soup. I liked the combination and texture in a pasta sauce. It was enjoyed by all the family.

This is a meal she makes for her children, hence the simplicity to it. I liked it with some chili flakes and served with garlic bread. The recipe doesn't list the two bay leaves she used in the episode, which do add good flavor. Next time, I would add a little more tomatoes to the pan, and maybe throw in some onions and garlic and finish with some italian cheese. Overall though, a tasty yet simple dish anyone could throw together in minutes be it for a snack for kids or pasta side for family dinner.

Such a great, easy, AFFORDABLE recipe. My whole family loved it. The beans added such a nice texture contrast with the pasta. Will definitely be making again. I grated some parm on top when it was finished. Next time I may add a few cloves of garlic for a little extra flavor.
