I made it for Cinco de Mayo last year, except with chicken breasts instead of thighs. My result: while the chorizo, orange, potatoes, etc. provided great flavor and were tasty, the chicken was bone dry. I typically shy away from any part of chicken except the breasts (I'm a creature of habit, which is why I didn't go for the thighs. I may have made a mistake in doing that so I'll definitely be using thighs instead when I made it next time!

Easy weeknight meal - just put everything in the pan, roast for an hour, and enjoy! Looks and tastes like it was much more complicated than it really is. One thing I love about this recipe is that it can easily be dialed up or down in volume for a crowd or just a couple. Definitely make more than you think you'll need - it's so good everyone will go back for seconds!

Delish! I added a couple of minced garlic cloves to the oil, and seasoned the chicken thighs and potatoes with a little salt. Make sure to baste the potatoes and chicken with the yummy sauce and toss around the sausages because they get can get scorched and hard. I made quesadillas the next day like Nigella suggested, but put the leftover sausages into a food processor first before combining it with the rest of the goodies. They were fantastic! Add some cilantro to the mixture and make sure to serve with some Cholula sauce.

In answer to Rich, Nigella is English, hence her oven temperatures are in celcius. 425 is the farenheit temp.

I have turned several people on to this recipe! And I do mean turned on! It is now a regular in my kitchen. It's very very easy. Fun to do, throw in oven and forget about it. Luv ya Nigella!

Made this last night for the family. I made a few substitutions (ie, my chicken thighs apparently were boneless and skinless - I purchased big frozen bags without looking at the label.

Everyone raved. The best part is there were leftovers I froze into MREs (Meals Ready to Eat for my son to take back with him to college.

Once I saw Nigella make this recipe, I knew it would be delicious. I halved the recipe, used good quality chorizo and used a very large organic orange for the zest.

I served it to my husband for lunch and he went nuts. He asked me to make it again the next day!!! It's a delicious, brilliant Spanish-inspired dish. This will be a go-to meal for us.
