Lordy, lordy, lordy, what's not to loooove about chocolate brownies?!! And these are so superb you'll have no room left for mains (if you're like me and occasionally have desert first! Just make sure the quality chocolate you use is the BEST you can get and these will be TO DIE FOR - guaranteed!

Each stick of butter is a 1/2 cup of butter. So 3 sticks of butter is 1 1/2 cups of butter. Each stick is a 1/4 pound and has 8 tablespoons

I am 14 years old and I made them myself, so it's pretty simple! I used 7 oz of semi-sweet bakers chocolate and 5 oz of semi sweet chocolate chips because I didn't have the other chocolate that we needed. They didn't turn out like the picture but they were still pretty darn good! Also, I used regular granulated sugar. And I used salted butter, not unsalted... I didn't have any unsalted. They are very yummy and very rich; I think I drunk 5 glasses of milk to wash down one medium sized brownie. I would recommend it!

I'm an australian subscriber to this website. it would be really helpful if the ingredient measure were universal. ie three sticks of butter means nothing to me. It would be easier if the measures were in grams or something I can convert. What is three sticks???

I made these one time during a bout of insomnia, took them into work and they were done in 15 minutes, every food day, holiday, or family event I am requested to make them. I have mixed them up a bit, used all chocolate chips, all white chips, mixed in peanut butter chips, mint chips, and once used butterscotch chips. 1 recipe gets me 36 brownies using the perfect brownie pan, per cut when they come out of the oven into 18 same size servings.
