These do NOT even compare to Ina's Outrageous Brownies. If you want to make the best brownies ever made...go to the Barefoot Contessa's.

I LOVED these brownies and so did my entire choco-holic family! I added walnuts to the mixture as well which enhanced the flavor of the dark chocolate and added a nutty texture. I did notice that I had to bake the brownies for about 6-8 minutes longer than the suggested 25 min.; at 25 minutes the center of the brownies were still jello-like, but overall, AMAZING BROWNIES!!!!

I have tried dozens of brownie recipes looking for the perfect brownie and i finally found it. These brownies are absolutely delicious. They are the perfect balance of "cakey" and "fudgey". I used Scharffenberger semi-sweet chocolate because I find bittersweet chocolate a little too intense. I also added a couple more tablespoons of sugar. I baked them in a 13x9 pan in a convection oven set at 350 degrees for 25 minutes and they came out perfect.

I was so excited to try this brownie recipe. With 3 sticks of butter & 6 eggs, I was expecting a rich, delicious experience. I followed the directions exactly, cooked it for 25 minutes & the top looked just as it should, pale brown & speckled. It was hardened when I tapped the top, so I took the pan out to cool. An hour later, when I went to cut it, the inside was a raw, runny mess. It was actually thinner than when I put it in the oven. I reheated the oven and tried to finish cooking it, but the top just got drier & harder while the middle never really did cook. The soupy mess with the crunchy top might have been OK to spoon over ice cream, but I was really disappointed in the waste of all those expensive ingrediants. (I bought extra expensive chocolate, as Nigella advised. What a bummer!

These brownies are so wonderful and very rich. Next time, I am going to try and replace the white chocolate chips with Peanut Butter chips.

I thought that the chocolate flavor was great, although there must be too much butter in the recipe because it took forever for the brownies to set, plus they were too greasy. I don't think I will make these again.

What an easy to make recipe! Didn't have enough bittersweet chocolate so I substituted some semisweet chips. Looking forward to making them again, and again!
